Our process

How we bring success to students.

No mystery method and no guesswork. Here is exactly what happens from your first free class to the day your score moves, and what we each bring to it.

The path

Six stages, in order.

  1. Stage 1

    Start free, every Wednesday

Join the live SAT Math class at 7pm ET on Google Meet. No card, no credits, no commitment. It is the same teaching our paid members get, so you know what you would be buying before you buy it.

  2. Stage 2

Your tutor finds the real problem

Christopher Soucy is assigned to every new student automatically. In the first classes he is working out which topics and question types are actually costing you points, and which habits are quietly wasting time on test day.

  3. Stage 3

    Pick the track that fits

Stay in the free Wednesday class, join the SAT Math Accelerator at $99 per month, or book 1 on 1 Math Class tutoring at $80 per hour. You can start with either and change later without losing anything.

  4. Stage 4

The weekly cycle does the work

Class, then homework assigned right after, then reminders before it is due, then your results emailed to you and your parent. Every week repeats the same loop. That repetition is where the score comes from.

  5. Stage 5

    You watch it move

Sessions, homework, scores, and progress all live in your portal, so nobody has to ask how it is going. Parents with more than one student see each child separately.

  6. Stage 6

    The guarantee keeps us honest

Stay active for 2 months, attend every Wednesday and Saturday class, and finish every assignment on time. Your SAT Math score goes up by at least 50 points, or your next 2 months are free.

The weekly cycle

A week in the Accelerator.

The Wednesday class is open to everyone. Everything inside the outlined box is for students in the Accelerator program.

Wednesday, 7:00pm ET
Live class, free to everyone

Sixty minutes of real SAT Math problems and strategy on Google Meet. Bring the questions that have been bothering you.

Accelerator Program

For Accelerator members only. Homework is assigned to students in the Accelerator program.

Right after class
Homework is assigned

A short set of problems on exactly what the class covered, waiting in your portal. Assigned to Accelerator students, no printing, no workbook to buy.

During the week
Reminders do the nagging

You get nudged before the due date, and your parent gets the same summary, so the work does not quietly slide.

Saturday, 11:00am ET
Accelerator class, 90 minutes

Members only. Longer, deeper, and built on the homework you just did, which is why showing up for it matters.

After you submit
Graded, with results emailed

Your score and a breakdown of what you got right and wrong go to you and your parent, so you know what to fix next.

Our side of it

What you can count on.

  • A tutor who has actually taught this, assigned to your student from day one.
  • A live class every single week, plus homework that follows from it.
  • Fast turnaround on graded work, emailed to student and parent.
  • Honest answers about whether a program fits, including when it does not.
  • A real person answering email and phone, not a ticket queue.
Your side of it

What we ask in return.

  • Show up to class. Attendance is the single biggest factor in the guarantee.
  • Finish the homework on time, even the parts that feel boring.
  • Tell us quickly when something is off, in school or with us.
  • Keep your phone number and email current so reminders land.
  • Give the process two months before you judge it.
House rules

The details, in plain English.

Credits

One credit is one hour of 1 on 1 tutoring. A single hour must be used within 2 weeks of purchase. A 10 hour bundle must be used within 3 months.

Cancellations

Cancel more than 24 hours before a session and that hour goes back into your account. Inside 24 hours we cannot return the credit, since your tutor held that time.

Meeting

Every session and class gets its own Google Meet link, generated automatically, emailed to you, and shown in your portal. No app to install.

Payments

Card payments run through Stripe. The Accelerator bills monthly and can be cancelled anytime from your portal.

Progress

Sessions, homework, scores, and Accelerator lessons and progress live in your portal. Parents see each of their students separately.

Support

Email support@thetutoringpros.com or call and text (786) 226-2968. A person reads every message.

Meet your tutor

Every session is run by someone who has actually taught this.

FAQ

Questions parents ask first.

Do I have to pay to see how this works?

No. The Wednesday 7pm ET SAT Math class is free every week and is open to everyone. It is the same teaching you get inside the paid programs, so you can decide after you have seen it rather than before.

How long until we see a difference?

We measure progress the same way the guarantee does, which is 2 months of consistent attendance and completed homework. Two months is long enough to see a real change on a test, and short enough that you are never wondering whether this is working.

What happens if my child misses a class?

Life happens. Accelerator members can watch the lesson recording in their portal, and the homework and reminders keep the week on track either way. Tell us in advance if you can and your tutor will know.

Can parents see the work?

Yes. Guardians see sessions, homework, and scores in the portal, and the results email goes to the parent as well as the student when an assignment is graded. Families with more than one student see each child separately.

What does the 50 point guarantee actually require?

Four things: stay in the Accelerator for 2 months, attend every Wednesday class, attend every Saturday Accelerator class, and finish every assigned homework on time. Meet those and your SAT Math score goes up by at least 50 points, measured against your most recent official SAT or PSAT score. If it does not, your next 2 months are free.

What if we need to stop?

The Accelerator is a monthly membership and you can cancel anytime. For 1 on 1 tutoring, credits you have not used stay in your account until they expire, which is 2 weeks for a single hour and 3 months for a 10 hour bundle.

The easiest way to see this is to attend it.

Reserve a free seat for Wednesday's class, bring your questions, and decide afterwards.
